ABOUT ME

My name is Muhammed Fayad, I'm located in Alexandria originally. Graduated from Pharos University, Engineering Faculty in computer major with a B-Eng Degree with total degree: 'B+'

I have a year of freelance experience in web development. My projects have included dashboards, real-estate websites, blogs, and portfolios. I specialize in React, Next.js, and Tailwind for front-end development. Additionally, I am familiar with back-end technologies such as Node, Express, and Mongoose. My experience extends to hosting websites on both shared hosting and VPS servers. I'm excited to showcase my skills and passion for clean, efficient code!

Awkwardly, I love Javascript! I keen on learning new Techs and tools. I dedicate -easily- 6h/day. You can say it's more like a hobbit to me. Also reading self-development & tech books has become one of my lastest interests!💡

My graduation project was in AI & Machine learning specialization. GANS model to colorize grey scale videos based on Generative adversarial networks deep learning techniques. I got grade 'A' on the project.

My Journey

I've been working on various projects in the past 3 years+. Here's a timeline of my journey.

Oct 2024

Scaling Impact & Expanding To Mobile

Software Engineer at Media Pan Arab FZE (On-site)

Stepped into a fast-paced environment managing high-traffic sports news platforms. My mission shifted from just writing code to mastering optimizing the performance, ensuring thousands of fans stay engaged through sub-second load times and seamless SEO.

When the need arose to modernize our mobile presence, I embraced the challenge of transitioning from legacy code "ionic" to flutter code with introducing performance enhancements and better UX. I self-taught Flutter to lead a complete overhaul of our legacy Ionic apps, delivering a high-fidelity, modern UI that felt truly native. published apps to the 3 different app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store, and AppGallery).

Precision & Real-Time Connectivity

Frontend Developer at Ezz Gate (Remote)

Focused on the intersection of pixel-perfect design and real-time data. I specialized in recreating complex Saudi marketing platforms where visual fidelity was non-negotiable.

I pushed the boundaries of performance, achieving a 43% speed increase through aggressive code splitting, while bridging the gap between users and admins using Socket.io for instant, live interactions.

Developing Complete Experiences

Fullstack Developer at Romeya Agency (Remote)

This chapter was about the Big Picture. I moved beyond the UI to develop entire systems, designing MySQL schemas and leveraging the full power of Next.js Server Actions.

I focused on making the web feel "alive"—combining robust backend logic with fluid Framer Motion animations to create tools that were as beautiful as they were functional.

The Spirit of Autonomy

Freelance Web Developer

Ventured into the world of independent consulting, where I learned to wear every hat: Designer, Engineer.

My highlight was delivering a comprehensive 40+ page platform for an international legal firm, which included complex integrations like the Al-Ahly bank payment gateway—proving that I could handle high-stakes, end-to-end deployments solo.
